Bookings are made and accepted only on the following conditions.

Personal injury:
The proprietor cannot accept liability for any injury sustained by any person, or loss of, or damage to their property brought onto the premises, including your vehicle whilst in the car parking area, or for other matters over which Fistral Bay House has no control.

Holiday tenancy:
This agreement is made on the basis that Fistral Bay House is to be occupied by the Tenant for a holiday as mentioned in the Housing Act 1988 Schedule 1 paragraph 9 and the Tenant acknowledges that the tenancy granted by this agreement is not an assured tenancy and that no statutory periodic tenancy will arise when it ends.

Over 18:
Bookings cannot be accepted from anyone under 18 years old.

Deposit;

A deposit of 20% must accompany the booking form / E- Mail enquiry, (following our telephone conversation confirming the dates are available). Please make cheques payable to Mrs E.Hayman Deposits are non-returnable unless Fistral Bay House is unable to accept the booking and as specified below.

Booking procedure:
When we receive your booking form / E-mail confirmation and deposit of 20%, we will send you a confirmation of booking and details of the balance due. Provisional bookings will only be held for one week pending receipt of your deposit. The balance of the cost should reach us 4 weeks before you start your holiday.

Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Outside the main holiday period’s weekend or short breaks can usually be arranged with a minimum on 3 nights.

It is not necessary for you to fill all the beds in the property; the price is for the house not per person.

Late bookings:
Bookings made less than 6 weeks before the starting date of the holiday should be accompanied by the full payment. Please allow 5/6 days from the time you send the booking to the time you receive our confirmation, although we will endeavour to do A.S.A.P.

Balance of payment:
Once a booking is confirmed by Fistral Bay House, the Guest is responsible for the balance of the cost of the holiday together with a "good house keeping" refundable bond of £100. This shall be paid 28 days before arrival please.

Non-payment of balance:
Fistral Bay House/Cottage reserves the right to re-let any holiday where the balance outstanding is more than 2 weeks in arrears. The deposit is not refundable in this instance.

Accommodation becoming unavailable:
In the event of the accommodation becoming unavailable (e.g. through fire or illness), Fistral Bay House will endeavour to provide suitable alternative accommodation or will refund all monies paid or a proportion in the case of curtailment.

Insurance:
Each guest will be responsible to take out adequate holiday and cancellation insurance.

Cancellations:
In the event of cancellations not covered by insurance, Fistral Bay House will endeavour to re-let the accommodation, and if successful the balance of the cost will not be due, or if already paid, will be refunded. The deposit is retained.

Damage and breakages:
We ask our guests to respect the property and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the holiday accommodation and please leave the holiday accommodation in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. Any "extra" cleaning costs will be deducted from the "good house keeping" bond. It would be very much appreciated that breakages are brought to the owners attention, major breakages caused by the holiday maker will have to be paid for. If no damage or breakages have occurred the " Good House Keeping" Bond will be posted back to you first post Monday (or after the day of departure).

Breaking the terms and conditions:
The proprietor reserves the right to refuse accommodation and any person/s whose behaviour interferes with the comfort and enjoyment of the neighbours, or is deemed unacceptable by the proprietors, will be required to leave without refund.

Waterproof mattress covers are fitted to all beds. If these are removed and the mattress is soiled, visitors will be charged for a new mattress.

Complaints:
In the rare event of there being cause for complaint or further requirements, no matter how small, please contact the proprietor so we have the opportunity to put it right. Our aim is to ensure you have the best holiday possible within our ability to do so.

Access by the owner:
The Property Owner shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.

But will only do so if absolutely necessary, your privacy is respected.

Pets:
sorry no pets allowed.

Arriving & Departing:
In order that your accommodation can be properly prepared, it is important that you do not arrive before 3.00pm and that you depart by 10.00am.


Smoking:
Fistral Bay House operates a no smoking policy.

We strictly only accept bookings from families and couples.
