Fistral Bay house & cottage are part of a select new development, on land previously owned by The Duchy of Cornwall, at the western end of Newquay called "Pentire". Only a few minutes from Fistral beach, which host surf championships and is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Cornwall.

Next to the beach is an 18 hole golf course, so whilst the family are entertained on the beach Dad can play golf!!

Also in the opposite direction 5 minutes walk, from the house is The Gannel Estuary for horse-riding, bird watching, fishing and fabulous walks, or simply to escape the crowds.

The boating lake and gardens are worth a visit. Not far from them are Newquay Zoo and a fun pool for the kids.

Newquay town centre is 10 minutes walk, there you will find plenty of shops, cafes and bars. Nightlife is well catered for and there is plenty to choose from. In the town nearby is Towan Beach on the front is an aquarium and Newquay Harbour (if you are lucky you may see our resident seal)! With seven beautiful beaches you are spoilt for choice.

The Eden Project has been a very popular tourist attraction and is approx. 15 miles from Newquay, worth a visit. There are some beautiful gardens to visit, my favourite is Trebah gardens near Falmouth, and it has a hidden beach ideal for picnics. Just to mention a few!!
